The Jewish Cemetery Association of Massachusetts (JCAM) considers your privacy of utmost importance. The following information is provided so you can better understand our practices when it comes to protecting your privacy.  Please read this Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, share and protect information about you.

JCAM’s website provides information about JCAM cemeteries, restoration projects, fundraising opportunities, community and/or educational programs in the Jewish community. By utilizing our website, you agree that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy and consent to the privacy practices (and any uses and disclosures of information about you) that are described herein.

Privacy of Data

JCAM does not sell or trade our mailing lists, e-mail lists, or donor lists. No personal information shall be exchanged with third parties. JCAM may contact you directly or via a contractor that has agreed not to disclose your information to others. Personal information such as address, e-mail address, demographics, giving levels, and giving histories are never divulged to any third parties.

Collection of Personal Information

Through your involvement with JCAM, you may be asked to provide personal information related to donations made through our website, written pledge cards, order forms, response cards, or pledges over the telephone in conversation with a JCAM staff member.  JCAM uses the information you provide us solely to provide services at your request, to inform you about services, programs, events and other information you may find helpful, interesting, useful; and to confirm donations, gravesite work requests, or other interactions with JCAM. We may disclose such information only to our contractors and their employees who provide services that you have requested. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information in any other context and are required to maintain the privacy and security of your information.

We may collect additional information from or about you in connection with grave purchases, burial certificates, reservations, or correspondence with our representatives. JCAM encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from our website (such as our sponsoring Service Providers) to understand how those websites collect, use and share your information.  JCAM is not responsible for the privacy statements or content of websites outside of our website.

At JCAM, protecting your privacy and information has always been and always will be an issue of the utmost care and concern.
