Mission Statement
JCAM is a 501(c)(13) cemetery association for the Jewish communities of Massachusetts, while honoring the dead in accordance with Jewish religious practices, traditions and beliefs. JCAM is committed to the maintenance and security of the existing and abandoned cemeteries under its care and provides continuity of their operation. The preservation of JCAM cemeteries includes the maintenance of assets, archives and records. JCAM educates the public through heightened awareness of the social, cultural and historic elements of Jewish cemeteries in Massachusetts.

Join us for an important community-wide event on the critical issue of "Securing our Jewish Cemeteries."
Pre-High Holiday Memorial Service – Baker Street
This year we will hold the first memorial service at the Baker Street Cemeteries in West Roxbury. The service will be at the Independent Pride of Boston cemetery. Rabbi David Grossman of Temple Shalom of Hull will officiate at 11:00 a.m.
JCAM Mitzvah Days – Community Genizah
Looking for Hebrew readers (adults & teens) to assist in sorting through mounds of sacred materials prior to book burial. Need people to help box items, discard items not deemed “Shemot”. This is a 2-part event. Friday 9/13 9-11 a.m. & Sunday 9/15 1-3 p.m....
BOE Pre-High Holiday Memorial Service at the Legacy Wall
This year we will hold the service at the Beit Olam East Legacy Wall instead of the original Beit Olam. Rabbi Louis Polisson of Congregation Or Atid will officiate at 11:00 a.m.
