Cemetery Management Services
JCAM is a non-profit Jewish cemetery association that owns and manages more than 100 cemeteries in the Greater Boston area. JCAM provides the following cemetery management services:
- On-line consolidation of records and preservation of archives.
- Regular inspection and reporting of the cemeteries.
- Planning and execution of cemetery restoration projects.
- Supervision of maintenance.
- Authorization of grave openings.
- Supervision of monument installation.
- 24-hour on-call service.
- Sales and marketing of available graves and lots.
- Accounting, bookkeeping and billing.
In addition, JCAM has established a computerized database from the records of previously owned, independent or managed cemeteries to provide a practical and historical record of every Jew buried in the Greater Boston area. Our archive has become a valuable genealogical resource for people world-wide.
