Once again JCAM is preparing to publish its Guide to Jewish Cemeteries: Bridging Past,
Present and Future. This 2010-2012 edition will not only contain the same familiar elements that
have made our Guide such a successful and popular publication, but will focus on the accomplishments
of our Past, the continuity of our Present, and the vision for our Future. We invite
you to join with us in helping create our best edition ever!
We ask you to consider placing a tribute, or a remembrance to the memory of a loved one, or express your appreciation for JCAM by clicking here to download the Contribution Form. Please complete the form and mail it to us with your check payable to the JCAM Charitable Foundation no later than May 1, 2010 for inclusion in the Guide.
Your contribution will show support for the following:
- Providing a community-wide genizah (book depository) for the burial of sacred materials.
- Educational programming for our children through “Cemeteries Are For The Living” tours and our new Jewish War Veterans Day Flag Project.
- The Mystic River Jewish Communities Project at the historic Ohabei Shalom Chapel in East Boston will capture and tell of our Jewish beginnings in the communities along the Mystic River.
- Ongoing restoration and maintenance on our 104 Jewish cemeteries in Massachusetts as well as our expansion project at the Beit Olam East Cemetery in Wayland.
- Genealogical database library for the Jewish community worldwide.
JCAM’s 2010-2012 Guide to Jewish Cemeteries: Bridging Past, Present and Future will be distributed in time for the Elul Jewish cemetery visitation season (Summer of 2010). Thank you for your Past, Present and Future support! The JCAM Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)3 corporation.
